Located in Southeastern Europe, Serbia is bordered by Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, Albania and Macedonia to the south, Bulgaria and Romania to the east, and Hungary to the north. Thanks to its geographical position, Serbia has always acted as a bridge between Eastern and Western civilizations, which created a unique cultural heritage consisting of a blend of different historical influences. In recent years, Serbia has emerged as one of Eastern Europe’s hottest travel and business destinations.

On top of that, Serbia is popular filming destination because of high-quality production and post-production studios as well as comprehensive facilities and skilled crew. The country is notable for its film-friendly infrastructure.

Serbia has mild continental climate with cold winters and warm summers. During the winter, the mountains experience heavy snowfall, while summer offers a lovely hot climate and little rain.

 

Plus, the capital Belgrade is home to numerous excellent theatres and galleries, a wide range of restaurants and cafés, and some of the best nightlife in the region. Belgrade is great filming location too. Not far from the capital are rolling plains dotted with welcoming villages, winter ski resorts and summer hiking spots, castles nestled in jagged mountains and monasteries hidden in the foliage of national parks. These sites are great not only for a visit, but also for filming.
